You could say it was the original virtual reality experience. You peered through a set of goggles and got transported to Yellowstone, or Disneyland, or Fred Flintstone’s cave. Good clean entertainment (unless you happened to get hold of one of the special adult disks–BTW, who knew those existed?!). Fast forward to now: The View-Master is back, as a virtual reality headset. While the jury is out on the actual View-Master experiences, the set works with any Google Cardboard app, so the possibilities for immersion are endless.
