Small But Mighty

Over the past several months, we’ve been thinking small.

Not small in terms of technological advances, or market impact, or potential to change and save lives.

No, we’re talking about small companies, the non-household-name enterprises that punch above their weight in innovation. We’ve been doing a lot of work with these startups and upstarts of the industry lately. They’re doing the tough, uphill work of inventing a better mousetrap medically speaking—addressing unmet needs with, for instance, a better guidewire, or occlusion device, or fecal management system for hospital patients. The list goes on.

Nobody ever said introducing something new and unfamiliar, or changing entrenched behaviors, or waging a David versus Goliath battle against industry giants is easy. But that’s what these companies do every day, without big budgets, teams or resources. And what they’re achieving is impressive. The value they bring goes beyond incremental improvements to make major impacts, clinical, economically, and in patients’ quality of life.

It’s a privilege to partner with innovators such as Haemonetics, Advanced Medical Balloons, Okami Medical. By working with them to  shape stories that win, and deliver bold campaigns, we’re able to serve as an extension of their teams and help accelerate their success.

Here’s to the small and the mighty. The work you are doing will make lives better. And if you need help making that happen, let us know. We’re here for you.
