We are over the moon to have Sara Pearson back on the rocket ship as Senior Account Director. We missed you and so did clients. If you haven’t had the pleasure of working with her already, allow for a reintroduction. And since we’re focused on MOA, maybe we can get into what really makes Sara tick…
What brought you back to Introworks?
I have such a passion for med tech, and I really missed working with some of the most innovative companies in the world. It’s just amazing the types of technologies that our clients are developing and that we can partner with them and help them. It just it’s so rewarding. It’s really what gets me up every day.
How are you wired?
I’d say, overall, I am a very curious person. I love learning. That’s one of the reasons I love being here and working with the technologies that we work with. I get to learn something new every day–everything from respiratory therapies to learning about histotripsy. It’s just so fascinating.
How do you communicate and build relationships with your clients?
I think the key to communication is listening. In order to really understand someone and to communicate, you need to listen. And I think listening is also–it’s as much about as what’s being said, as what’s not being said. And I think that’s really key. And as a marketer, to listen and to really understand, you need to listen to the market. You need to listen to your customers, and you need to listen to your clients. And I think that’s how you can be most effective, and that’s something that I bring to my work every day.
What energizes you when you aren’t at work?
In my free time, and my perfect way to unwind is, I absolutely love mountain biking. There’s something about being in the woods riding the single track. It requires focus, agility, endurance, strength. And then there’s always this–there’s always a mental challenge too. Whether you’re going over a feature, a rock garden–always something to learn, and it really offers a sense of accomplishment when I do that, and it’s just there’s nothing better.
